So I usually don’t get something up and viewable this quickly, but I couldn’t resist. Sitting in the Bux, uploading today’s wedding (it was a 2-in-a-row weekend for us!). I’ve been ruined.
Last night we experienced one of the coolest, most chaotic, artistic and fun-loving expressions of a wedding ceremony! Our friends Nikki & Eben got married out at Nikki’s parent’s house, litterally in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. In fact when I asked her Dad, “Mr. Dad, how did you pick here to live.” His reply…. “Well, I wanted to live in the middle of nowhere.” My reply… “well accomplished sir, well accomplished.”
Anyways, back to the wedding. We met Nikki & Eben out at Earl Harrison House. Eben is the son of Kathy, the person in charge of this sweet Historical Mansion that is rented out on the weekends for weddings and events. Since we’ve worked there quiet a bit we have gotten the chance to hang out breifly with Nikki & Eben (they are there every weekend doing pretty much everything–bar tending, setting up chairs, and everything in between). Nikki asked us to take her wedding photos, which to be honest was a pretty frightening and intimidating thing to be asked.
Nikki (and Eben too) is this really hip artsy person who likes the unusual and eclectic sides of life…and she’s a photog herself. Here’s her thoughts for an eclectic wedding. Small ceremony (20 peeps mobbed around the two of them as they say their incredibly poetic vows), Indian Food, a wonderful variety of beer, and a pool party. That’s right it’s been her dream since a child to have a pool party wedding. So I could not resist, no matter how tired I am at the moment to show off somes of these sweet shots we got from the day’s events! And I think I’m putting it in the contract that anyone that does a pool party wedding automatically get’s 25% off! Fun times!

I love trees!

My Wife took this picture!

Another one for the wife!

Oh yeah, my daughter’s joined in the pool party festivities!

Thanks guys for a great night!
